"But if I ran the zoo," said young Gerald McGrew, "I'd make a few changes. That's just what I'd do!"

Thank God.
He's here. He made it. I just keep saying "thank you thank you thank you" in my head, over and over. A new, shorter prayer, I suppose, to replace our lengthier special bedtime prayer, which we didn't have to say last night.
I am so grateful we made it through this thing.
I'll have pictures soon, I promise. The Gutsy Dad is sound asleep, and the pics from last night's reunion feature the work clothes...
Needless to say, all of the Gutsy Girls are very, very happy.

I am so very glad he is home. I remember the feelings you are having right now - complete euphoria. It doesn't get much better... What good news to start my day!
There is no better day (other than maybe the birth of your children) than welcoming home that most special man from an RLBT! Congratulations to the Gutsy Dad for making it home safely and congratulations to the Gutsy Girls for making it through with your sanity intact!
Oh, Happy Day!!! Never will I forget the day my guy came home...those emotions never fail to bring tears of joy. Have you been watching him sleep? I remember wanting to wake-up early so I could just stare at him and bask in his "thereness."
Funny moment: I told A the Gutsy Dad is home only I used his proper first name and A had no idea who I was talking about. I'm pretty sure he's never heard him called nor called him anything other than his work name and/or nickname.
:) :) :) :) :)
Hurray! Hurray! So happy for you:) Well done for making it through - all three of you. KFA
